MIT VMS Venture Directory Help
This is a directory of currently active VMS ventures. This includes those working toward
launch, ventures that have launched, and ventures with liquidity events. Clicking on the
venture name will take you to more detailed record of the venture.
About Ventures
The listing shows their name, their status, when enrolled in VMS, principal contact and snippet
of their description.
Clicking on a venture name provides a detail page with full info.
Please note that we also list the current active mentor team and you can click on an individual
mentor name to go see the mentor profile detail from the Mentor Directory.
If you click on the email symbol (the blue M) next to Mentor Team it will open a new email
message for you with the whole team prepopulated in the TO address field and a CC to the VMS
office. Just put in a subject and type your message. This should make team communications a
little easier.
Similarly for the venture team, if you click on the email symbol there you can email the team
easily.
Searching For Ventures
There is a Search box in the top right corner of your screen (next to the green magnifying
glass). If you enter a venture name, entrepreneur’s name or search term it will return a list of
ventures that match.
For example, entering Pharma will show a list of ventures with that term in their name or in
their profile.
You can perform multiple searches one after the other.
